Atlético de San Luis want to sign Hull City’s João Pedro this summer, according to multiple claims.

The striker joined the Tigers on a free transfer in September and signed a contract until this June. He scored six goals and registered two assists from 35 Championship games and last month, Hull City extended his contract until 2026.

Sportitalia journalist Gianluigi Longari took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to report that the 33-year-old ‘will leave’ Hull City.

He adds the Brazil-born Italy international is close to reaching an agreement with Atlético de San Luis. There’s been further development in this case if Súper Deportivo from Mexico is to be believed.

They report the Hull City player has reached an agreement with the Mexican club, without providing any further details.

Atlético de San Luis will have to reach an agreement with Sergej Jakirović’s side to secure his services. Súper Deportivo state this is ‘yet to be officially finalised’, but it’s expected to be sorted out.

Transfermarkt value Pedro at €1.8m and there’s no mention of the English club’s request or the fee they will collect from his sale.
