Giorgi Kvernadze has made quite an impact at Frosinone this season and is now attracting interest from Hull City.
The 23-year-old had played a big role for the Italian side in helping them earn promotion to the top-flight last season. He contributed to ten goals and in this campaign has found the net three times already.
He has been a standout in a surprising season for Frosinone, who are sixth in the table right now.
Talk around the attacker is growing, as Hull City are alert to his situation.
Kvaratskhelia comparisons rising
Today’s print edition of TuttoSport reports that Kvernadze’s value has grown multifold since Frosinone paid only €300k to sign him in 2024.
His rise has attracted Hull City’s attention, with the Tigers possibly looking to make a move as early as January. Frosinone’s stance on that is unknown but they are likely to make a sale in the middle of the season difficult.
This comes at a point when Italian outlets have drawn a direct comparison to Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. And it is only natural that Napoli are also keen, as per TuttoSport.
They sent a scout to watch him against Como at the weekend and the attacker was in fine form for the tie.
The newspaper further note another similarity, as Kvernadze is represented by the same agent as the PSG star – Mamuka Jugeli. Whether that is important or not remains to be seen but big things are on the way for the Georgia international.
