Hull City owner Acun Ilıcalı has already explained the plan to look at the Turkish market this summer.
Ilıcalı said the Tigers could specifically look at Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe, Beşiktaş and Trabzonspor to improve their squad.

Two days ago, Sport Witness covered claims from Turkey that Hull City have made an offer to Beşiktaş goalkeeper Ersin Destanoğlu. His contract expires on June 30th and he’s looking for a new club.
Deportivo to challenge Hull City
The English club have secured promotion to the top flight and are keen on adding Ersin Destanoğlu to their squad.
Deportivo La Coruña, who return to La Liga next season, are ready to compete with Hull City for the 25-year-old.
That’s according to journalist Ertan Süzgün, who took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to report this. He claims that besides the newly promoted La Liga side, Sergej Jakirović’s side have also made an offer.
Süzgün doesn’t provide further information, such as details of their offers or the goalkeeper’s preference.
Another journalist, Osman Altunterim, covers both Hull City and the Spanish club when discussing Beşiktaş’ goalkeeping situation. Lüpen Sports took to X to relay his comments.
Altunterim is unsure of the latest claims of the Black Eagles’ interest in Bayern Munich’s Alexander Nübel. However, he states Destanoğlu is leaving and wants to join the Spanish club or the Tigers.
The journalist explains why the Turkish stopper prefers Deportivo.
“Ersin is leaving. Ersin is either going to Deportivo, which is where he wants to go, or Hull City. If he goes to Hull, he’ll be a backup; at Deportivo, he’ll play,” he said.
Hull City need to make quick final push
Ersin Destanoğlu favouring Deportivo La Coruña would be an issue for Hull City.
Having already submitted the offer, both Sergej Jakirović and the English club have to act quickly to convince the goalkeeper to pick them.
This is likely to be a tough task, considering the stopper will be a backup for Ivor Pandur.
