Sent to Chateauroux in Ligue 2 by OGC Nice last season, Saïd Benrahma appears to have done enough to earn himself the interest of a number of sides around Europe.

The one-time Algeria international was a key member of the second-tier side last season, scoring 10 goals and picking up five assists in 33 appearances.

Capable of playing on either side of the striker or through the middle, his performances have, according to RMC Sport in France, caught the eye of Huddersfield and Brentford scouts.

As well as the Terriers and the League One side, the 22-year-old is also attracting interest from Spain, with Leganes the potential suitors.

There’s yet to be talk of bids or negotiations of any sort, but if David Wagner is keen on injecting a bit more flair and pace into his frontline at a reasonable price, it’s not hard to see why he’ll have been recommended the OGC Nice youngster.

Quick, not afraid to take his man on and adept at finishing with either foot, Benrahma certainly fits the mould of what a number of teams are looking for these days

With just one year left on his contract with the Ligue 1 side, this summer is also the ideal time to make a move.
