As Milan’s chase for Chelsea midfielder Hakim Ziyech is often backed up by people in the Italian media, we see a new example of it today.
This time it was former player Massimo Orlando who was interviewed by TMW Radio and had a few words on the Rossoneri’s upcoming transfer windows.
Orlando made it clear he’d like to see Milan landing the Chelsea player, since Ziyech should receive a new opportunity to shine after the World Cup.
“Ziyech would be perfect,” Massimo Orlando told TMW Radio‘s Maracana show.
“There’s an imbalance between the left and right wing. He comes from a fantastic World Cup and he’s in trouble at Chelsea, he’d like a redemption. On one side he and Theo Hernandez on the other that would be incredible.”
Ziyech has a goal and an assist in the World Cup so far, and is a regular starter in a Morocco team which made history by reaching the tournament’s semi-finals, where they’re facing France on Wednesday evening.
At Chelsea, however, the player continues to struggle to get playing time, as he only made nine appearances for the Blues this season, most of them entering the game as a late substitute.
Therefore, as soon as he returns from Qatar, it’s very likely Milan will make a bigger effort to get his signing done.
