Liverpool’s Luis Díaz has told Gol Caracol that he isn’t thinking about leaving Anfield in the summer window despite recent transfer claims.
Over the past few weeks, the Spanish media have talked about Barcelona’s desire to sign the winger.
On May 15th, Mundo Deportivo said he’s ready to fight with Liverpool to secure an exit. The same outlet reported earlier this month that he’s ‘not at ease’ at the Merseyside club and was shaken after Jürgen Klopp’s exit.
As well as the La Liga side, Paris Saint-Germain have been credited with interest in the 27-year-old.
The Colombia international is currently with the national team, preparing for the upcoming Copa América, and he featured in their friendly win over the USA last Saturday.
This allowed Gol Caracol to ask him about his future plans after claims of interest from Barca and the Ligue 1 winners.
Responding to that, he said: “I’m very happy there at Liverpool, it’s a great team and club, I’ve always wanted to play there, so I’m very happy and relaxed. I’m not thinking about anything else, I’m thinking about the Colombia national team, which is where we are.”
Díaz’s deal at Liverpool lasts until 2027, and he managed 13 goals and five assists from 51 games in the recently concluded season.
