Brighton & Hove Albion’s Deniz Undav has told Bild that ‘he dreams’ of making a switch to Manchester City.
The striker’s struggles to have a prominent role at Brighton saw him spend the recently concluded season on loan at VfB Stuttgart.
He starred for them, managing 19 goals and 10 assists from 33 games, and that helped him make his debut for Germany and make it to their squad for the Euros.
Bild had a detailed chat with the 27-year-old, where he talked about his desire to join Manchester City in the future.
Stuttgart have an option to make the Germany international’s loan stay permanent and he recently reiterated his desire to continue with the Bundesliga side. At the same time, the Brighton man also dreams of a big move to a team like Manchester City.
Bild specifically asked Undav whether he dreams of making a switch to Bayern Munich and when responding to that, he mentioned Pep Guardiola’s side.
“I think there are few players who would reject an offer from Bayern. Everyone wants to move to the really big clubs at some point: Man City, Real, Barcelona. That’s the last big step I want to take one day, and I give everything to achieve it every day,” he said.
