Watford picked up a 1-0 win over Middlesbrough at the weekend.

A Moussa Sissoko goal was enough for the Hornets to get all three points, as they rose to tenth in the table above Middlesbrough.

It was also their first win in six Championship games, as their last win had come back on January 18th against Derby County.

Gianluca Nani, who handles sporting affairs at Watford and their partner club Udinese, spoke to Tuttomercatoweb about a host of issues surrounding the two sides.

When asked about Watford’s win over Middlesbrough, he noted the key formation change that helped the London club take all three points at the weekend.

He said: “We are coming off a good win. We started with both teams with 3-4-2-1 and now we are both playing with a back four.”

Speaking about the upcoming derby against Luton, Nani said: “The derby awaits us on Saturday, we are focused.”

Luton are currently at the bottom of the Championship and their last win came back in December.

If Watford win, it would be the first time this season when they’d have done so for two games in a row and therefore a very welcome boost.
