There’s a claim in the Austrian media that Leeds United, Burnley and Sunderland are potential destinations for Sturm Graz attacking midfielder Otar Kiteishvili ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Georgian has been a standout player for Sturm Graz this season and despite recently extending his contract he’s edging towards an exit.
Krone today report on developments regarding Kiteishvili’s future and they say there’s uncertainty whether he will be playing for Sturm Graz next season.
According to the Austrian newspaper, they’ve been informed by sources that the 29-year-old is set to depart. Those sources are saying he could set sail for England, with a newly promoted side the destination.
The name of that club isn’t mentioned, but it would obviously have to be one of Leeds United, Burnley or Sunderland. It’s not that all of those are keen, more that it’s one of the trio.
Kiteishvili has made 38 appearances this season, scoring 12 goals. He’s contracted until June 2027 after only extending his deal in January.
