Officials from Manchester United reportedly made a trip to Lisbon to watch a particular player last night.

As written by Portuguese newspaper O Jogo, the Premier League club went to keep an eye on João Felix as Benfica faced Boavista in Liga NOS. Record reports the same.

The Eagles had no problems thrashing the away side with a 5-1 score, and it looks like the Red Devils chose a good night to watch the youngster.

O Jogo gives Felix a rating of eight out of ten, giving a lot of praise as the player opened the scoring, created constant danger and made two assists.

Today’s edition of A Bola called him a ‘Genius’ on their front page, hype is really building.

The 19-year-old has been pretty impressive this season and has been linked to European giants for a few months now, so it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him moving in the summer, although he’s currently protected by a €120m release clause.

Scouts from Everton and Feyenoord were present at the Estádio da Luz as well, but the Toffees’ target isn’t revealed by the newspaper.
