Despite the recent rumours linking Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic with a move to Saudi Arabia, it seems his entourage could end up sending him somewhere else.
According to a report from CalcioMercato.it, the striker has been offered to Inter Milan in recent days.
The Fulham player is said to be liked by Nerazzurri director Piero Ausilio, and his signing is currently being evaluated at the Serie A side.
Inter Milan’s biggest difficulty to get a deal is said to be that interest from Saudi Arabia, with Al-Hilal still being an attractive destination for the player.
For now, Calcio Mercato don’t seem to know anything about the numbers mentioned in the talks, especially because the Nerazzurri don’t seem to have spoken to Fulham.
Recent reports about the Saudi interest said the Whites would try to make the most of a sale. Al-Hilal reportedly offered €40m and Marco Silva’s side would push for more.
Now since the Saudi side are said to be offering Mitrovic a salary worth €25m per year, it’s highly unlikely Inter Milan can get anywhere near that, so they’d need other convincing arguments to bring him to Italy.
