Fulham have no intention to increase offer – Club will have to make decision on player

Over the past few weeks, the Brazilian media have regularly shared updates on Fulham’s pursuit of Fluminense’s André Trindade.

On July 19th, Fluminense president Mário Bittencourt revealed that his side had made a counter offer after Fulham made a bid for the midfielder.

Four days ago, Goal in Brazil reported Marco Silva’s side have reached an agreement with the Brazilian club, and are sorting out the last details to secure his services.

Lance! have now dismissed this claim and they insist Fulham are yet to return with an improved bid for the 23-year-old.

It’s claimed the Premier League side made a bid of around £25m and this was rejected by Fluminense. The report says Fulham haven’t raised their proposal, and at this moment in time Fluminense haven’t received any other offers for the Brazil international.

It seems both André and his club are waiting for Fulham to return with a new offer, but that may not happen soon.

Silva’s side are edging closer towards completing a deal for Arsenal’s Emile Smith Rowe. The report states they have invested a lot of money on this deal, which is why Fulham ‘don’t intend to increase’ their offer to sign André.

If there’s no change in the situation, Fluminense will have to decide whether to let the player join Fulham for £25m or retain him at least until the end of this year.
