Fulham may be struggling to beat Bologna in the battle to sign Fodé Ballo-Touré, but it seems they won’t give up on trying to convince him.
Recent reports from the Italian media have been claiming that due to the player’s wish to stay in Serie A, he may favour a local move.
However, Il Resto del Carlino, relayed by Sport Italia, claim Fulham are now pushing harder to attract the player to London.
It’s now said that the Whites have increased their personal offer, putting a yearly salary worth €2m net on the table.
The report claims this figure is ‘out of reach’ for Bologna, so that’s definitely a big advantage for Marco Silva’s side.
It’s been a while since the Italian media started claiming that Fulham will have no problem matching the €4m request that Milan have been making for Ballo-Touré.
The problem has always been his wish to stay in Italy, and maybe that money on the table will be enough for him to change his mind. Partly because Bologna don’t have a deal with the Rossoneri yet.
