Fulham ‘already have an agreement’ with Sevilla for winger Lucas Ocampos, having moved for him this week.
That’s according to La Colina de Nervión, who say Sevilla are expecting ‘busy days’ before the end of the transfer window and Ocampos is one of the players they expect movements around.
Reports earlier today stated that Fulham had taken an interest in the Argentine winger and there were genuine fears that he could depart before deadline day.
The suggestion was that Marco Silva’s side were pressing ahead and showing a keen interest in the winger before deadline day.
It seems that interest has now become something concrete, though, with La Colina de Nervión reporting that they have already reached an agreement with Sevilla for a transfer to take place.
They explain that Ocampos has ‘captured the attention’ of Fulham, who ‘once again expressed their interest’ and as such have opened talks with their Spanish counterparts and already struck a deal.
There is no mention of a transfer fee, or whether Ocampos is keen on the move to Craven Cottage, it was reported earlier today that he and teammate Youssef En-Nesyri were reluctant to depart the club, just that the two teams have struck an agreement.
That would suggest an acceleration is on the way and more details will come, so expect plenty of developments for the rest of this week.
