It appears that the deal taking Stefano Sensi from Inter Milan to Leicester City will be done in the next 24 hours, if the latest from Italy is to be believed.

That’s according to FC Inter News, who claim that ‘everything is ready’ for the player’s move to the King Power Stadium, and it should happen ‘barring any surprises’.

Sensi is expected to be in England ‘by the weekend’ to complete his move to Leicester, and a phone call is scheduled on Thursday to ‘define the last details’.

The Foxes are expected to pay €2m in total for the midfielder, with €1m of those being paid immediately and the next €1m only needing to be paid after promotion to the Premier League.

Considering how well-placed Leicester are in the Championship, that almost feels like a given, and the player’s agent, Beppe Riso, is ‘defining the contract’ his client will sign with the English club.

While they initially wanted three and a half years, it’s expected they might have to settle for two and a half, with the Foxes being ‘cautious’ due to Sensi’s injury record.

In short, it’s nearly done.
