In need of some extra reinforcements, Everton are looking to add some players before the end of the transfer window.
One of the areas they appear to be trying to bolster is their wings, where PSV Eindhoven’s Johan Bakayoko is on their list.
This comes from Sacha Tavolieri, who took to Twitter to reveal that the Everton are ‘currently in talks’ for the Belgian forward.
Not only that, but Sean Dyche’s side are ‘set to make an official approach’ to the Dutch side in the ‘coming hours’ for a transfer.
That being said, a deal isn’t a guarantee at this moment in time, because Everton do face some particularly strong competition for the 20-year-old, as Paris Saint-Germain are interested.
There’s no mention of how much he would cost the Toffees, but considering the amounts the Eredivisie club have sold some of their players for in the past, it could stretch their wallet.
Of course, there’s always the option of a deferred payment via an initial loan, and it will be interesting to see what comes of all this.
