Sporting goalkeeper Rui Patrício has been linked with a move away from the club for several years.
After winning Euro 2016 with Portugal, and putting in some brilliant performances, the goalkeeper was naturally linked with interest from several sides.
Manchester City were said to be on the chase too, and continued being linked to the player even after Claudio Bravo was signed.
Now A Bola claims that although the Portuguese side still wants to keep him, a bid of €20m is enough for them to consider.
That makes Patricio the cheapest of Everton’s targets at the Lisbon club, since both Carvalho and Silva wouldn’t leave for less than €35m.
In Manchester City’s case, it’s even more obvious they need a goalkeeper after the disastrous season that Claudio Bravo has been having.
But for this, the English sides would have to beat competition from Marseille. The French side are the strongest name in the race right now, and should find no difficulties to pay such amount.
It would be no surprise if both Everton and Manchester City move for a goalkeeper during the summer window, and 29 year old Patricio is a reasonable target.
