According to a claim in the Italian media, Everton are lining up a bid for Genoa attacker Diego Laxalt.
The Uruguay international has been linked with a move to the Premier League in the past and now it’s the Toffees who could look to bring him before next month’s deadline.
Primocanale report Laxalt is receiving attention from other clubs and it’s now Everton who are said to be keen on the player. It’s claimed the Toffees are lining up a bid in the region of €12m for the South American as they look to land the wide man in this transfer window.
With Yannick Bolasie receiving interest from Turkish club Fenerbahce, Laxalt could be an ideal replacement if the Everton winger leaves Goodison Park in this transfer window.
The 25 year old also showed his versatility in Russia this summer when he was deployed as a left back for Uruguay.
Laxalt is contracted to Genoa until June 2022.
