Everton and Brighton and Hove Albion have joined Crystal Palace in showing an interest in youngster Mahamadou Doumbia.

That’s according to Africa Foot, who say all three Premier League clubs will face competition from Juventus for the 20-year-old.

They report that the Bianconeri have already started initial contacts with the Royal Antwerp midfielder’s entourage, formulating an offer worth around €10m. They are determined to get the midfielder to Italy this summer.

Antwerp, though, are unlikely to accept such a big and expect to receive around €15m for their man, who is under contract until 2027.

They know there is increasing interest in him as Everton, Crystal Palace and Brighton, as well as Sevilla and Napoli have all shown an interest in him too.

Thus, they could force a potential bidding war for the youngster and ramp up his price, something the likes of Juventus won’t want to get into with Premier League sides.

Crystal Palace and Brighton’s interest is not new as that has been reported on over the last month, but Everton are fresh suitors for the youngster.

Whether any end up winning the developing race for him, particularly with a giant side like Juventus in the mix, remains to be seen.
