Dele Alli has failed to impress at Everton after having joined them on the deadline day of the winter 2022 market.
The attacking midfielder has failed to score a goal or register an assist in 13 matches for the Toffees, out of which two appearances were from this season.
After being left out of Frank Lampard’s plans, Everton allowed the 26-year-old join Beşiktaş on loan last summer.
The former Tottenham Hotspur man netted twice in his first three matches for the Turkish club but has struggled since then.
He has not scored or assisted since mid-September, and this led to suggestion the Black Eagles will send him back to the Merseyside club.
Sabah have now dismissed this claim, saying it ‘does not seem possible’, as they explain Alli is ‘not going anywhere’ and will finish the season at Beşiktaş.
Having already represented Everton and the Istanbul club, he will not be eligible to play for a third club this season.
Beşiktaş are paying Alli’s €2.2m per year salary, and therefore, the Premier League side ‘will not accept’ the Turkish club’s request to take him back in the current window.
These are the two reasons why the Everton flop is set to finish the season at Beşiktaş before more than likely returning to Goodison Park.
