Three days ago, TuttoMercatoWeb explained Torino could risk Ola Aina leaving them to join Leeds United in the summer window.
The right-back, who has mainly operated as a left wing-back this season, has a contract expiring in June. InterLive.it now state he has relaunched himself at the Serie A side and doesn’t intend to sign a new deal at Torino.
Despite the contract situation, Torino manager Ivan Jurić will continue to rely upon the 26-year-old until the end of this season. His performances and the desire to leave the Turin club for free could be an opportunity for other clubs, including Leeds.
It’s claimed more sources are suggesting the former Chelsea man will return to the Premier League after this season. The Whites in particular are interested in securing the England-born Nigeria international’s services, ‘even more so for free’.
InterLive.it state the player could have been proposed or will be offered to Inter Milan in the near future. It would be difficult for the Nerazzurri to take him and his future is likely to be in the Premier League, where Leeds are keen to sign Aina.
