Nottingham Forest have joined Newcastle United in the chase for Inter Milan’s Davide Frattesi, according to L’Iinterista.

The Magpies failed in their attempt to sign him last summer and are still keen on signing him.

Earlier this week, InterLive.it reported Frattesi could leave Inter in the winter market. They also stated Newcastle United are the most viable option for him.

Two days ago, Tutto Juve backed up Newcastle United’s interest. Nottingham Forest have now added to the 26-year-old’s suitors list.

L’Iinterista provides the lates on the Tyneside club and Nottingham Forest. Eddie Howe’s side weren’t able to sign him last summer because he was considered too important at the San Siro.

However, the Italy international lost prominence and has made one league start this season.

Inter are unlikely to lower the price below €35m while Newcastle United don’t want to offer more than €30m. The report states Howe’s side will have to make an extra effort.

As well as Newcastle United, Nottingham Forest are in the picture in sign Frattesi. AS Roma, Juventus, Napoli and Lazio are also keeping an eye on him, but ‘England is calling’ the Italian.

Whether Nottingham Forest have genuine interest or if they are being used to pressure Newcastle United remains to be seen.
