Eintracht Frankfurt star Omar Marmoush wants to join Liverpool and a €50-60m transfer is now being lined up.
That’s according to BILD, who say Liverpool have already started talks and the transfer process is already underway.
Marmoush has been the star again for Eintracht this season, with 11 goals in 14 games in the Bundesliga so far and seven assists on top. Only Harry Kane is currently keeping up with him.
The top clubs are already interested in the Egyptian and ‘everyone is talking about him’. Now BILD say Marmoush is considering his future too.
He’s happy in Frankfurt and a move in January is not on the cards. He would also like to win a title with the club, who he has fond feelings for as they have helped him breakthrough after a few difficult years.
He does have dreams, though, and the one clear one is to join Liverpool. Initial talks have already been held between the two parties about a move next year.
Other English clubs are in the running, but Liverpool are at the top of his list. If a transfer were to happen and Marmoush remains injury free, Frankfurt expect a fee of €50-60m. They have hopes they can keep him regardless of the interest, though.
For that to happen they’d have to secure Champions League football at the very least, otherwise Liverpool will seemingly be waiting.
