Crystal Palace’s Joachim Andersen and Eintracht Frankfurt’s Jesper Lindstrøm are ‘high’ on Eddie Howe’s transfer ‘wish list’ for this summer, according to Ekstra Bladet.
A recent claim from the UK said Newcastle United are ‘showing great interest’ in the 27-year-old defender, who’s valued at £40m by the Eagles. This is now backed up by the Danish newspaper, who add a bid could be ‘on it’s way’ to Crystal Palace
Having qualified for the Champions League, Newcastle are in the market looking for one or two centre-backs.
Andersen’s compatriot Lindstrøm is also on Howe’s ‘priority list’. It’s stated the Bundesliga side are ready to part ways with the 23-year-old attacking midfielder, provided they receive the ‘right offer’.
Recent claims in Germany reported Eintracht Frankfurt have set €30m as the starting price for Lindstrøm and Ekstra Bladet state they would be satisfied if there’s a proposal in the range of €28.7-€34.5m.
Lindstrøm managed nine goals and four assists from 38 games last season, and there’s been reports of interest from elsewhere in the Eintracht player.
