Aston Villa and West Ham United have been handed a clear route to the signing of Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri, with the Spanish side desperate to sell before June 30th.
That’s according to Vamos Mi Sevilla, who report that Seville have an ‘urgent need to sell’ before that point to help their finances for this season.
They explain that Sevilla’s finances are currently deep in deficit and so the Spanish side need a major sale to help bring that down before June 30th, the end of their financial year.
He is already being offered to clubs in the major European leagues and to Saudi Arabia in the hope that someone comes in an offers a ‘great transfer.
Aston Villa and West Ham have both already been credited with an interest in the Premier League, with the Hammers long-term admirers and Villa reportedly entering the race this week.
West Ham’s interest comes via Julen Lopetegui, who worked with the striker at Sevilla, while Aston Villa’s likely comes from Monchi, who signed the player for the Spanish side during his time in charge at the club.
Sevilla are absolutely open to the transfer and are hoping to get €30m, although the striker having just a year left on his contract may help to bring that down.
