Tottenham Hotspur star Richarlison is well known in Brazil for the help he gives to those in need in his home country, and he continues displaying that great attitude.
The striker’s latest action was revealed by the governor of Espirito Santo, Renato Casagrande, who made a post on Instagram about the player’s aid to Mimoso do Sul.
The city has been struggling with recent storms which destroyed several houses and killed 20 people.
According to the governor, Richarlison is already helping the victims, and now donated a signed Tottenham shirt to be auctioned and see the profit going to those who’ll need it.
“Even though he’s far away, he hasn’t forgotten his roots and is keen to take part in this moment of unity,” says Casagrande.
The shirt was handed over by Richarlison’s father, who met the governor and promised that the striker will soon pay him a visit.
The storms at Mimoso do Sul took over 11,000 people from their homes, and there’s a huge job to be done to get things back to normal in the city.
Richarlison is well known for helping people in his home state, and this time, even Tottenham ended up getting involved.
