On Thursday, Hessenschau reported Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Saša Kalajdžić is included in Eintracht Frankfurt’s target list for the winter market.
This report surfaced after the 26-year-old’s agent confirmed he’s received interest from England and Germany.
Bild also state the Bundesliga side have their eyes set on the Wolves player. They have a deal in place for Viktoria Plzeň’s Rafiu Durosinmi and still need another striker. This is where Kalajdžić would fit in.
It’s said Eintracht Frankfurt sporting director Markus Krösche is ‘intensively negotiating’ a loan deal with Gary O’Neil’s side for the Austria international.
The former VfB Stuttgart man has made only one league start this season and needs to feature regularly if he wants to represent Austria at the Euros.
Eintracht Frankfurt are ready to offer Kalajdžić a short-term [loan] deal that could help him have more minutes in the second half of the season.
Sky Deutschland journalist Florian Plettenberg states Kalajdžić is ‘very open’ to joining the German club on loan next month.
He claims the frontman has held talks with Eintracht Frankfurt and ‘now it depends mainly’ on Wolves, who will have to make a decision on the Austrian.
Plettenberg adds there’s another unnamed German club that want to sign Kalajdžić.
