Earlier this month, market intermediary Michele Fratini stated Juventus have their eyes set on Arsenal’s Charlie Patino.

Tuttosport relay his comments and provide the latest on the Serie A side’s efforts to sign the 20-year-old.

Arsenal have let the midfielder go out on loan since the start of the 2022/23 season and he’s currently at Swansea City.

The England U21 international has managed three goals and four assists this season and the Serie A side are planning to secure his services.

Juventus technical director Cristiano Giuntoli has made a trip to London to work on several cases, including Patino.

It’s said the Old Lady have followed the Arsenal owned player for a while and ‘now seems like the right time to strike’. Giuntoli wants to block the operation next month since Inter Milan have also looked at him.

Tuttosport say the Gunners are requesting at least €20m and this is an obstacle for Juve. They add Giuntoli will try to overcome it by offering Moise Kean to Mikel Arteta’s side as part of the deal for Patino.

The former Everton striker has failed to score a goal or register an assist from 12 games this season. Tuttosport have defended Kean’s poor run and state he was ‘blocked more by VAR than by opposing defenders.’

The report doesn’t mention if Arsenal are open to this ‘sensational exchange’ involving Kean and Patino.
