Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Sasa Kalajdzic ‘on the list of possible new arrivals’ at Eintracht Frankfurt after his agent confirmed he’d be moving in January.
That’s according to Hessenschau, who say the German side have him among their potential targets as they look to strengthen in the coming weeks.
Kalajdzic has barely featured for Wolves this season after returning from a cruciate ligament injury he picked up in the first game of the season last season.
The Austrian striker does not appear to have convinced manager Gary O’Neil to give him more playing time, despite making an impact in his handful of appearances so far.
That’s led to speculation he could leave Wolves in January as he needs to be playing regularly ahead of Euro 2024, when he’ll be a major part of Ralf Rangnick’s plans for Austria.
That was largely confirmed by his agent to Austrian journalist Peter Linden last week, when he confirmed that there were interested parties in the Premier League and the Bundesliga.
A report today highlighted Fulham and West Ham as the former and Hessenschau now name Frankfurt as one of the ones from the latter.
At this stage their interest seems to be just that, interest and nothing concrete, but with Kalajdzic on the move they’re a name to keep an eye on moving forwards.
