Former Napoli star Gokhan Inler signed for Leicester City at the start of last season in a €7m deal, but has failed to make an impact at the Premier League club.
Inler managed just 195 minutes of league football last season, and has been a spectator so far this season.
According to Italian website Gazzamercato, Lyon and Besiktas are interested in signing Inler, whilst Serie A side Cagliari are also keen on him.
Gazzamercato say Cagliari have had their eyes set on Inler for a while now, but the next few hours could be crucial.
Cagliari’s president, Tommaso Giulini, and director of sport, Stefano Capozucca, will explore in the next few hours if they’ve the resources to sign Inler. That sounds like they’re set to count the money in the bank account and raid down the back of the sofa.
The Serie A club are hoping to sign the Swiss midfielder, but interest from Besiktas and Lyon has made things a bit complicated.
