Crystal Palace have come forward to sign Galatasaray’s Sacha Boey in the winter market
The right-back has excelled for the Süper Lig side this term and has become an essential player under the orders of Okan Buruk.
His contract expires in 2025 and the Turkish club’s desire is to tie him down to a new deal. The two parties have been negotiating this for several months.
That’s according to Foot Mercato, who state the renewal proposals made by Galatasaray have not convinced him so far. The details of the offer aren’t mentioned, but the situation ‘arouses the greed’ of European clubs and Crystal Palace are tagged.
Along with Patrick Vieira’s side, Eintracht Frankfurt and VfL Wolfsburg are also keen on the defender.
It’s explained the Eagles and the two Bundesliga sides are ‘very interested’ in signing the 22-year-old in January. There’s no mention of who among these three clubs is currently ahead in the transfer chase.
Fussball Transfers also name Crystal Palace, Eintracht Frankfurt and VfL Wolfsburg as the Frenchman’s suitors and further add a transfer is ‘conceivable’ in January for the player.
Even without Boey’s renewal, Galatasaray may not be worried about the interest shown by Crystal Palace and others since he still has more than two years left on his contract.
