Earlier this week, we covered a report from Brazil which said Crystal Palace are one of the contenders to sign Wesley from Flamengo.
John Textor had already revealed his interest in the player, and with the Rio de Janeiro side now willing to sell, there seems to be the possibility of a deal.
As outlet Torcedores now features a story on Wesley’s situation, they bring some information which should be of interest to Crystal Palace.
It’s said Flamengo have indeed been receiving approaches for the player, and their intention is to sell him for between €12m and €15m.
It’s worth recalling that Crystal Palace may not be the only Premier League side interested in Wesley, as the likes of Brighton & Hove Albion and Wolverhampton Wanderers were recently also linked to his signing.
With John Textor not only seeming to be a fan of the player but also standing close to him in Rio, perhaps the Eagles could find an advantage, as they already signed Matheus França from Flamengo in the last transfer window.
