Hull City appear to be stepping up their interest in Crvena Zvezda (Red Star) striker Cherif Ndiaye after watching him on Tuesday evening.
That’s according to Max Bet Sport, who cover Hull’s interest in the 29-year-old again today after a report yesterday.
That report yesterday stated that Hull were one of several sides sending scouts to watch Crvena Zvezda’s clash with Lech Poznan. They named players who were being targeted by the scouts in that game and Ndiaye was one of them.
He was reportedly being targeted by Hull aCity nd Max Bet Sport follow that up today, explaining that the striker has been targeted by the Championship side. Mainz and clubs from the Emirates and Saudi Arabia are also keen. In fact, offers were rejected in Jue.
He’s now a player to keep an eye on before the end of the window, with Crvena Zvezda putting a €7m asking price on his head. Whether Hull are willing to pay that for him, remains to be seen.
For now, it appears they’re just keeping an eye on him and were watching him on Tuesday evening as he managed a goal in the 1-1 draw with Lech to take him to two goals and one assist in Champions League qualifying to date.
