There’s a claim in the Turkish media that Crystal Palace are closing in on Fenerbahce defender Bright Osayi-Samuel

The former Queens Park Rangers man was linked with a move to England during the last transfer window and more recently linked with Crystal Palace. At the time it was reported the Nigeria international was keen to return to England following his spell at Loftus Road.

Fotomac today report on the latest developments regarding the future of Osayi-Samuel, whose contract with Fenerbahce expires in the summer.

It’s claimed Crystal Palace have been in transfer talks with the right back and the Turkish media outlet say the player has been offered a four-year contract by the Premier League side.

According to Fotomac, Osayi-Samuel has been offered €4.5m a season and the two parties are close to reaching an agreement.

Jose Mourinho has been keen to keep hold of the Nigerian and despite being offered a contract extension by Fenerbahce it seems like he will be leaving Istanbul at the end of the season.

He’s played 33 games for the Istanbul side this season.
