Nottingham Forest have repeatedly been mentioned as a suitor for Udinese’s Lorenzo Lucca in the past few weeks.

The indications have been that Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have serious interest in bringing the striker to England, with the Italian having previously had a stint at Ajax.

So far this season, Lucca has scored ten league goals and this is his highest individual goal scoring tally in a single campaign.

Calciomercato’s Daniele Longo has reported about the Azzurri player today and a warning is presented to Nottingham Forest.

That is because AS Roma have made contact with Lucca’s entourage and Napoli have also spoken to the player’s agent in the last few days.

Antonio Conte’s side will have no problems meeting Udinese’s price tag of €30m and at the same time, Roma are looking for a proper back-up to Artem Dovbyk.

This comes after AC Milan and Juventus have also been presented as candidates to sign the 24-year-old.

If Nottingham Forest are serious about signing the ex-Ajax player, they would have to hurry or other clubs can catch up soon. That is clearly the image that the Italian press is putting out, with the attention around Lucca increasing quickly.
