In the past few weeks, it’s been reported Juventus could extending the loan stint of Chelsea’s Renato Veiga.
The Portuguese defensive player has become an integral part of Igor Tudor’s side this season, starting in each of the last ten games in Serie A.
TuttoSport have reported on the player’s future today and they state ‘contact has already been made’ with Chelsea by the Bianconeri in recent days. Veiga is said to be very happy in Turin and has earned the respect of Tudor already through his performances in this campaign.
Juventus know the 21-year-old’s current contract at Chelsea runs until the summer of 2031. They see it as an opportunity to not just extend his loan stint until the Club World Cup, but also until the end of next season.
The Old Lady will look to add an option to buy in the deal and will also offer the obligation to buy him permanently, if certain conditions are met across the 2025/25 season.
The outlet believe that Chelsea are favourites to sign Dean Huijsen and this can lure them into loaning out Veiga once again.
