On Thursday, Gazzetta dell Sport reported AS Roma goalkeeper Mile Svilar has enticed West Ham United scouts. It was also stated the Hammers were planning to watch him against Brighton & Hove Albion yesterday.
ASRomaLive.it back that up and then explain that Svilar won’t have been the only player to be under ‘special observation’ by David Moyes’ side.
The stopper’s club teammate, Edoardo Bove, is also on West Ham’s radar. It’s claimed the Hammers officials had also planned to follow him against Brighton in the Europa League clash on Thursday.
In other words, West Ham monitored Svilar and the 21-year-old, and both played the full 90 minutes at The Amex.
The Premier League side’s interest in the midfielder isn’t new as TuttoMercatoWeb stated last month that they have been tracking Bove for a while. It was also reported West Ham are thinking of whether or not to make a move for him in the summer.
ASRomaLive.it’s latest report indicates that West Ham are still following the Italy U21 international and may consider signing him in the summer.
Last December, Bove signed a contract until 2028. He’s managed a goal and two assists from 35 games for Roma this season.
