The Gerard Deulofeu to AC Milan saga is constant peaks and troughs and emotional excitement from elements of the Italian media. One minute ‘It’s happening’ and then the next ‘It’s not happening’ and then a few hours later ‘IT’S HAPPENING AGAIN’.
Gazzetta dello Sport’s latest update is that Milan are confident Everton are softening on their demands. Milan have always wanted a loan with a right of redemption on their side, which gives them all the power, and Everton (quite rightly, as we explained here) have demanded a redemption obligation, which would force Milan to buy the player if certain conditions are met.
It would be a shame if Everton folded so quickly on this, but everything could change by this afternoon.
