Sevilla have begun to ‘listen to offers’ for goalkeeper Bono, amid interest from Leeds United and West Ham United
That’s according to Fichajes, who say the Morocco international could have his days ‘numbered’ at the Spanish club.
They explain that Bono has been one of the best goalkeepers in La Liga for several years and several Premier League teams are already interested in him for next season.
Leeds United and West Ham are both believed to be keen, with a report in September naming them as interested parties.
Fichajes say he is ‘on the radar’ of both clubs and Sevilla may now be ready to listen to offers for the player next summer given his contract is expiring in 2024.
There is a belief he could be one of the ‘big bombshells’ of the summer transfer window, with it yet to be decided if they’ll continue together or if the goalkeeper will move on.
A move to either Leeds or West Ham would make little sense, though, as Illan Meslier is well established at Elland Road and the Hammers paid out to make Alphonse Areola’s loan deal permanent this summer.
Therefore, neither are in desperate need of a new goalkeeper, particularly one that would cost a significant figure to get out of Sevilla even if he was in the last year of his deal.
