Brighton & Hove Albion’s Julio Enciso has been on loan at Ipswich Town since the winter market.
The Paraguay international will finish this season at Ipswich Town and return to The Amex in the summer.
On Thursday, we covered claims from Brazil which stated Flamengo like the Brighton man. It was also reported FC Porto have been in advanced talks with the Seagulls to sign the 21-year-old on loan in the summer window.
It has now reached the Portuguese press and specifically O Jogo, who have contacted the Dragons for an update.
A source close to Porto told the newspaper that there is no truth in claims that they are in talks with Brighton to sign the attacking midfielder on loan.
Enciso’s decision to join Ipswich Town has allowed him to feature regularly, which wasn’t possible under Fabian Hürzeler at Brighton. He has managed two assists from six league games for Kieran McKenna’s side so far.
Brighton may have to make a decision on the player’s future, after he returns from his loan spell.
