Chelsea’s Armando Broja impressed while out on a season-long loan deal at Southampton and his performances for the Saints have not gone unnoticed.

Napoli are in the mix for the striker, who they view as a possible replacement for Victor Osimhen, as the Nigerian is repeatedly linked to clubs in England, but no offers have been made so far for his services.

CalcioNapoli24 now claim the Serie A side’s director, Cristiano Giuntoli, ‘does not give up’ on the Chelsea owned player.

For now, Osimhen is set to continue at club, but they have ‘never stopped taking precautions’, in the event their star leaves this summer.

The 20-year-old continues to be on the agenda of the Italian club, who ‘never abandoned contacts’ with his entourage, and sources close to the Blues frontman insist Guintoli has been in contacts for months.

Napoli must ‘watch out’ for both Inter Milan and AC Milan have ‘strong interest’ in him, and, in addition to this, Southampton ‘will try again’ to sign the Albania international.

It’s said a €25m ‘will not be enough’ to convince Thomas Tuchel’s side to let the Albania international leave this summer because Chelsea’s ‘evaluation is higher’ for him.

Broja, for his part, has not set any preference over where he wants to play next season.
