Reading FC striker George Puscas is once again drawing the interest from Italian clubs, according to reports from he local media.

Website TuttoMercatoWeb today writes that with Como looking for a centre-forward, they now ‘identified’ the 26-year-old as a target for the final weeks of the transfer window.

It’s said the Italian club already made Reading an offer, as they’d like to sign Puscas on a loan with an option to buy.

TuttoMercatoWeb doesn’t mention the price Como would need to pay the Royals to make the transfer permanent, and still doesn’t seem to have any information whether the Championship side are keen on finding an agreement for those conditions.

Puscas had already been playing in Italy this year, as in January, Pisa signed him on a loan deal from Reading.

In the few months he spent at the Serie B side, he had eight goals and two assists in 22 appearances, and that was apparently enough to draw the attention from other local clubs.

The striker’s contract with the Royals runs until 2024.
