AS Roma are now sorting the ‘final details’ for the signing of Rui Patricio from Wolverhampton Wanderers, according to reports from Italy.
Sky Italia now claims that the Serie A side have ‘increased’ their last bid and are now offering €10m plus €3m in bonuses for the goalkeeper.
Their story claims that Roma are ‘expecting the definitive yes’ from Wolves ‘in the next few hours’.
The confidence from the Italian media regarding Patricio’s arrival had been growing for the past few weeks, and it now it really looks like he’s joining compatriot José Mourinho at the Gialorossi.
Rui Patricio joined Wolves on a move from Sporting back in the summer of 2018.
Even though he had broken his contract with the Portuguese side following a violent attack at their training centre, the English club still managed to find a deal for his transfer just so they could avoid future problems.
After three seasons being Wolves’ main goalkeeper, Patrício should now leave the Molineux side after 127 appearances for the club.
