Real Betis are showing an interest in Rangers midfielder Nicolas Raskin as they seek replacements for Johnny Cardoso and William Carvalho.
That’s according to Mucho Deporte, who report that Betis’ interest in the Rangers midfielder has emerged in the last few hours.
The 24-year-old is one of several players that Betis are currently monitoring as they look to shore up a position which has been left short this summer by the departures of Cardoso and Carvalho, with the latter expected to be confirmed soon.
Raskin has a good reputation in Europe and had enhanced that reputation since joining Rangers in a €1.5m move two summers ago. That’s seen him playing in the Champions League and make his debut for the Belgian national side.
That came in March this year and he’s made three more appearances under Rudi Garcia since, featuring twice against Ukraine and then North Macedonia and Wales.
His current deal at Ibrox runs until 2028 and Mucho Deporte speculate his value market value is currently around €10m.
Betis are yet to make a move, but the Rangers midfielder is a name on their agenda as they look to strengthen a position which has been weakened this summer.
