Last month, Tuttosport reported Fulham are the ‘most insistent’ team looking to sign Torino’s Ola Aina in the summer.
The London-born Nigeria international has a deal expiring at the end of this season and is set to leave the Serie A side as a free agent.
That’s according to Tuttosport, who state the 26-year-old’s next destination seems to be Fulham.
With regards to Aina, the report explains he is ‘close to Fulham’ and will leave on a free transfer. It’ll be interesting to see if this claim about Marco Silva’s side will be backed up in the UK.
Aina knows the Premier League side well as he was with them on loan for the 2020/21 season. Operating across the back four, he managed two goals and an assist from 33 matches at Fulham.
The versatile player has featured 18 times this season for Torino while operating as a wing-back.
