Last weekend, AS published their interview with Mohamed Salah, in which the forward revealed it’s hard for him to say how long he will be at Liverpool.

The newspaper also quizzed the Reds star about the possibility of moving to either Barcelona or Real Madrid in the future.

Salah’s friend and compatriot, Mohamed Aboutrika, then went public with claims the former AS Roma man is unhappy at the Merseyside club.

Another report from AS now claims the Egypt international is not included in Los Blancos’ ‘initial roadmap’ as that involves signing Kylian Mbappé in 2021 and Erling Haaland a year later.

However, with the ups and downs of the transfer market, the La Liga winners could ‘take advantage’ of the ‘disagreement’ between the 28-year-old and the Reds.

It’s claimed getting the attacker out of Anfield would have been impossible if not for the rift between him and his club. Now, the ‘emotional aspect’ can make things happen, and that would make Salah’s signing for Real Madrid ‘possible’.

According to the report, the ‘primary reason’ is the player doesn’t feel valued at Liverpool. He is also unhappy with the fact that Jürgen Klopp handed the captain’s armband to Trent Alexander-Arnold in a recent fixture.

AS states: ‘Madrid has a hole in the offensive trident with Hazard and Benzema where he would fit in and could continue to shine. A change of scenery, together with a coach like Zidane, less volcanic than Klopp, could be attractive for both parties.’

AS end their report by saying: ‘Madrid is clear about which stars it wants (Mbappé the first) and which signings it still considers necessary (Camavinga), but the white club is always with its ears open to analyse any seductive and unexpected option that the market offers. And that, until recently closed in stone, could now be the case of Mohamed Salah.’
