According to a claim in the Turkish media it seems Trabzonspor have finally got an agreement to sign West Bromwich Albion midfielder Okay Yokuşlu.
The 30-year-old has been linked with a return to the Super Lig in recent weeks and despite reaching an agreement with the player they still needed to convince the Baggies.
Gunebakis have reported this afternoon that an agreement is in place for Yokuşlu to return to Turkey after two seasons at the Hawthorns.
The Turkish media outlet say some details need to be addressed before signatures are exchanged. It’s claimed there were other clubs in the frame to sign the Turkey international, but he was keen to re-join his former side.
These are presented as the latest developments after claims yesterday that West Brom manager Carlos Corberan had stepped in and was preventing the transfer from happening. However, it was reported the two clubs were still locked in transfer talks, so maybe he wanted a replacement identified first.
