Chelsea’s negotiations to try and sign Jules Koundé are expected to be quick and ‘easy’ once they get underway.
That’s according to Cadena Ser, who cover the situation around the Frenchman today as speculation about a move continues to ramp up.
They say it doesn’t look like there will be a summer of soap operas as expected, despite the months of talk about a move for Koundé.
The moment of his departure ‘will come’ at some point, but at this moment in time, the negotiation has not picked up speed and, in fact, Sevilla deny that negotiations with Chelsea have started as yet.
However, that is expected to change soon, and when it does, it will be as ‘easy’ as ‘the rich man paying what is being asked for’.
As far as Cadena are concerned, Sevilla’s demands are not an ‘insurmountable obstacle’ for Chelsea to overcome, and so things could pick up quickly when official talks do being.
At the minute, though, there is ‘talk of tranquility’ in Nervión, with Sevilla seemingly waiting for Chelsea to make their move official and start talks to get their man.
