Renato Veiga is destined to make a return to Chelsea for the 2025 Club World Cup as Juventus have not reached out to discuss a permanent deal.
Despite new head coach, Igor Tudor, coming in, the Portuguese player is expected back at Stamford Bridge in the summer.
The new coach has ambitions to lead Juve into the Champions League but he is struggling with injuries to his backline.
La Stampa (via TMW) reports that Veiga will be heading home upon the conclusion of the campaign, following his loan move to the Old Lady in January.
The Bianconeri don’t have an option to make his move permanent at the end of the season and there is no indication that they will be looking to make any offer for him.
Despite Juventus not being encouraged by his displays, Veiga is expected to get regular playing time from now until the end of the season – especially as Gleison Bremer, Juan Cabal and Federico Gatti continue to persist with injuries.
The 21-year-old has made seven appearances across all competitions for the Italian giants this season. After a glowing start to life in Serie A, injuries held the youngster back.
