Chelsea loaned out Renato Veiga to Juventus in the January transfer window.

The Portuguese defender faced a spell on the sidelines due to injury but he has been a regular part of the Juve side since joining, playing eight times in all competitions.

He has also shown glimpses of his abilities, yet despite that, it does seem as if he will return to Chelsea in the summer.

What happens after that remains to be seen and Calciomercato.it have reported that there could be a possibility of Veiga moving to AC Milan.

All of it could be part of a swap deal – of sorts. The outlet use information from Gazzetta dello Sport to state that Milan’s Fikayo Tomori is still of interest to Juventus, who can make a summer move.

Losing the Englishman could see Milan look around for replacements and they are already interested in Veiga’s profile.

As a result, they could speak to Chelsea about a summer move once the versatile defender returns from the Bianconeri.

It remains to be seen if the Blues will have plans for him next season or not, but the Rossoneri’s move will hinge on that.
